ARPAS-UK is the Association of Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (UK). It is a membership association. All members, including the committee are involved in the UK civil drone industry in some way. Some are RPAS pilots, others are trainers, equipment suppliers or consultants.
ARPAS-UK is run as a not-for-profit limited company so all membership fees are used to try to promote the positive growth of the industry and to help develop UK legislation in a way that protects the public whilst allowing operators to do what they do best.
As the association develops, there are likely to be more special interest groups, regional events, support forums and opportunities for members to become directly involved in improving the industry.
The online members-only Facebook forum is incredibly supportive with some of the most experienced operators in the UK regularly contributing.
Please visit www.arpas.uk for more details of membership options and member benefits.
